The Waterco Glass Media Grade 2 is a premium filtration product designed to enhance the performance of your water filtration system. This product comes in a size range of 1.2 - 3.0mm, making it suitable for a variety of applications. The 20Kg package ensures you have enough media to handle large-scale or multiple filtration tasks. Made from 100% recycled glass, this media is environmentally friendly and provides superior filtration compared to traditional sand media. It is designed to remove finer particles from water, resulting in clearer and cleaner water. Ideal for use in swimming pools, aquariums, and industrial water treatment facilities.

Waterco Glass media has the green credentials, and with its superior performance is also cost effective in comparison to sand for use in pressurized sand filters.

Ideal for use in applications that require mechanical filtration only - note, it is not suitable for use as a biological media like oolitic sand.

Waterco Glass media has many benefits over sand:

• Requires less energy to backwash, and therefore results in less energy usage and water loss.
• Keeps cleaner. It will not channel like sand, and its smooth heat treated surfaces are less susceptible to bio-fouling.
