Chorleywood Solar Phase 2 Complete: Powering 40% of Our Energy Needs

After many months of planning, I am pleased to announce that we have completed the installation of the Chorleywood Solar Phase 2 project! This has seen the installation of an additional 454 solar panels on the roof area above the Fish House, Cash & Carry warehouse and Show Room, providing 197kWh peak production, and a projected 163,471 kWh a year.
This adds to the existing solar system, which provides Chorleywood with 35,747 kWh, providing a total annual production of just under 200,000 kWh per year. With the energy reduction campaign reducing our London energy usage from 727,000 kWh down to 497,000 kWh, we are now able to produce 40% of our electricity a year through this investment. Insulating ourselves from future energy price instability, as well as doing our bit for reducing greenhouse gas emissions!
