Tropic Marin® Fluorine is a highly concentrated fluoride solution crafted to correct trace element deficiencies in reef aquariums. Fluoride plays a vital role in strengthening and hardening calcium-rich skeletons, supporting healthy metabolism and growth while helping suppress unwanted algae and bacterial growth. It can also enhance the rich blue hues in many corals. Fluoride occurs naturally in seawater at low levels (approximately 1.2–1.5 mg/L) and cannot be detected using standard ICP tests, so it must be measured separately using IC, ISE, or HSA analysis. With a simple dropper and dosing cap, Fluorine enables precise dosing whether added manually or via pump. A dosage of 10 mL per 100 L raises fluoride by 0.2 mg/L, while the maximum safe dose of 20 mL per 100 L increases fluoride by 0.4 mg/L per day. Store in a cool, dark place for optimal stability.
