Tropical Marine Centre at XÓTIKA 2025: A Celebration of Aquatic and Exotic Life
On October 18–19, 2025, Tropical Marine Centre (TMC) participated in the inaugural XÓTIKA event held in Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal. This vibrant and immersive gathering celebrated the world of exotic plants, aquariums, terrariums, and micro-ecosystems, offering attendees a sensory and community-driven experience that bridged science, nature, and hobby.

TMC's presence at XÓTIKA highlighted their commitment to ethical and sustainable marine aquarium practices. The event featured a diverse range of exhibitors and workshops, including live demonstrations and expert talks. Notably, TMC's Cláudio Carapinha conducted a workshop titled "Montagem do meu primeiro Salgado" on October 19, guiding participants through the process of setting up their first marine aquarium.
